Computer Engineering
The Computer Engineering course aims to train professionals to work in automation processes, integrating aspects related to the development and management of hardware and software projects. Such aspects involve embedded systems, real-time systems, integrated hardware and software systems, distributed systems, computer networks and communication systems. A few years ago, the increasing level of automation and computerization in modern society gave rise to this new modality of activity, called Computer Engineering. The need for a contingent of professionals capable of interacting dynamically with computational demands at a lower level (hardware) and with solid knowledge of the needs and trends of computational demands at a higher level (software) gave rise to the creation and growing market demand for professionals in this new area. A graduate of this course has a technical, scientific and general professional background that makes him able to absorb and develop new technologies, stimulating his critical and creative performance in identifying and solving problems, considering their political, economic, social, environmental and cultural aspects, with an ethical and humanistic vision, in response to the demands of society.
